The applicant selected for this position will be tasked with writing assigned blogs, following specified content drafting requirements and meeting deadlines; conducting research on any given topic and revisiting and updating blogs according to project requirements, along with streamlining all content for search engine optimization; creating and managing an editorial calendar to ensure timely deliveries; and communicating/cooperating with other team members along with consulting relevant sources to extract and corroborate blogging information.
To be considered for this position, the candidate must have excellent grammar and writing skills along with the ability to make complex, technical data easy-to-understand for all readers. They must exhibit proficiency in the use of standard writing/data consolidation tools such as Google Docs and Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint; as well as hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress).
